Terms and Conditions

  • Do not enter the park under any circumstances, (unless in an emergency), until the previous customer has left.

  • Dogs must remain in your vehicle until you are secured within the park with the gate closed and locked behind you.

  • Play equipment in the park is for your dogs’ use only. Please do not attempt to climb on or move equipment.

  • Children must be supervised at all times and are your responsibility.

  • At least 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule or cancel your booking.

  • If you are waiting to enter the park, please allow sufficient space for the previous customer to exit.

  • Please ensure that you leave the park promptly and within your allocated time.

  • Please ensure you close the gate and lock the padlock.

  • The maximum number of dogs running in the park at once should not exceed 8 at any time.

  • Dogs must be up to date with all vaccinations, (with exception of titre test) and parasite control. Puppies from 8 weeks are welcome but please be sensible when allowing them to run or climb on equipment. Your dog is your own responsibility.

  • Please only allow digging in our designated sand pit.

  • Never leave your dog unattended in the park. Your dog is your own responsibility.

  • Do not bring any dogs that have experienced any vomiting, diarrhoea or coughing in the past 48 hours to the park.

  • Never leave your dog in the car during hot or sunny weather.

  • Please pick up all dog poo, (even if it’s not your dogs’, we know how easy it is to miss) and dispose of responsibly.

  • Please put all litter and dog poo bags in the bin provided.

  • Dog handlers must be over the age of 16.

  • Appropriate footwear and clothing must be worn. The ground may be wet, muddy, slippery or uneven under foot.

  • You enter the park at your own risk. We will not accept any responsibility for injury, illness or death of your dog from using our facility.

  • Our fences are regularly checked to ensure that they are dog proof. No liability can be accepted for any dog that escapes under, over or through the fence.

  • You park your car at your own risk.

  • Please bring a torch or head lamp as our park is not lit in dark conditions.

  • Due to the risk of cross contamination, please ensure you bring your own water and a bowl.

  • Please be sensible in the event of very hot weather. Dogs should not be over exercised in excessive heat.

  • In case of an emergency, please refer to our Dog First Aid kit and local Vet phone numbers in the shelter.

  • Furniture should be returned to the shelter after use.

  • If you need to use the Dog First Aid kit, please return it to the shelter before exiting and inform us of what has been used.

  • Drumgley Dog Park accepts no liability for any losses or injuries suffered while using our facility.

    From 23/02/24:

    XL Bully breeds will be referred to as "the dog"

    The dog must be wearing a muzzle while travelling to the Park in their vehicle.

    Once in the Park and the gate is locked, the dog can be let out of the car off lead and unmuzzled. They must be wearing their muzzle when put back in their vehicle on exit of the Park.

    The dog must only be run with dogs from the same household.

    The dog can be run with other dogs from the same household but the XL Bully must have a 1:1 ratio of dog to handler, (over 18 years of age) , so in other words each XL Bully should have its own handler.

    After the 01/08/24:

    The dog must be registered with the Index of Exempt Dogs (IED)

    The dog must be insured, including Public Liability.

    The dog must be microchiped.

    The dog must be neutered in line with Government rules (i.e. age/spay window).
